RETURNS, EXCHANGES, AND MORE

Fat Cat Bling upholds the highest standard of quality for each of our products. We guarantee that the quality of all our merchandise will meet or exceed expectations. Every effort is made to ensure your merchandise is shipped in perfect condition. If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you may return any item in its original condition within 7 days of receipt and we will gladly provide a refund, replacement, or an exchange.

What you can Return.

We accept returns on items in new condition with the original packaging and materials, including tags, gift boxes and/or certificates of authenticity.

Any item that has been in the customer’s possession for less than 7 days from the date the item was delivered.

What you cannot Return

Unfortunately, we are unable to accept certain items for return.

These include:

  • Items which are no longer in new condition.
  • Items which lack their original packaging, including gift boxes, tags and certificates of authenticity.
  • Items which have been customized or altered to meet customer specifications, like resizing or engraving.
  • Items which have been in the customer’s possession for more than 10 days from the date the item was delivered.

What you need to know

  • Be sure to inspect your items promptly upon receipt for shipping errors or manufacturing defects. Defective merchandise must be reported within 10 business days of receipt.
  • In order to return an item, customers must contact the  Fat Cat Bling Customer Care Team to receive a Return Merchandise Authorization Number (RMA). Returns lacking a corresponding RMA may be delayed or returned to the customer.
  • If the item is being returned due to a manufacturer’s defect or because we shipped the wrong item, Fat Cat Bling will pay for all shipping fees related to making the return for refund, store credit, or exchange.
  • If the item is being returned for any other reason, the shipping fees related to the returned item are the customer’s responsibility. This includes fees to return the item to our facility as well as fees related to shipping a replacement item to the customer, when applicable.
  • We advise all customers to return their items via a carrier (like UPS or FedEx) that provides a tracking number. Return shipments which are lost in transit are not the responsibility of Fat Cat Bling.
  • We inspect all returned items within 5-7 business days of receipt. Any item that is received in a condition which is not new or which does not include all of its original packaging, including gift boxes and certificates of authenticity or attached price tags will be returned to the customer.
  • After the product’s original condition has been verified, we will issue a refund, store credit or perform an exchange. Most refunds are processed within 7-10 business days of receipt.
  • Refunds will be issued in the original form of payment.
  • Unless the item is returned due to a manufacturing defect or because we shipped the wrong item, the original shipping fees associated with your order will not be refunded.

Ring Returns

Diamond Rings with an EGL or GIA Appraisal Certificate must be returned with the certificate. If the certificate is not returned with the ring, your refund will be reduced by the amount of the replacement cost.

How to Return an Item

  1. Contact the Fat Cat Bling Customer Care Team to obtain return shipping instructions and a Return Merchandise Authorization number (RMA).
  2. Write the RMA number in the original invoice that we have sent you. Returns will not be accepted without this number.
  3. Safely package the item you are returning, and include all original packaging, the invoice and collateral material. For security reasons do not write jewelry on the box. Return shipping costs are paid by the customer unless deemed the responsibility of Fat Cat Bling.
  4. Insure your package, this is extremely important. Please also make sure to get a tracking confirmation for your order.
  5. Upon receiving the package, our quality assurance team will review the item. Upon their approval we will issue a refund within 7 to 10 business days in the original payment method, except for wire transfers.

 

Ordering Multiple Items
If a customer orders one item and returns it, there will be no restocking fee. If a customer orders more than one item, there will be a 15% restocking fee on each item returned. By way of example, if a customer orders two or more items (in one or more transactions/orders), keeps one and returns the rest, there will be a 15% restocking fee on each item returned. This policy was put in place to discourage customers from ordering multiple items for comparison purposes. The practice of comparison shopping increases our costs and will result in higher prices. Once your return order is received at Fat Cat Bling, we will inspect the item(s) to ensure it is in its original condition. Once approved, we will issue your refund minus the restocking fee to the original form of payment (credit card or PayPal).


How long does it take to receive a credit for a returned item?
After we receive the returned item, it takes between 1 and 5 business days to complete the return process. A refund or customer credit (for exchanges) will be issued within 7 to 10 business days after the return process. All refunds will be issued in the original form of payment. Please allow one monthly billing cycle for the credit to appear on your credit card statement.


The item MUST be received at Fat Cat Bling WITHIN 7 DAYS from the date of receipt of the items from Fat Cat Bling. Any items received after 7 days from the shipment date will not be accepted for refund. Each item must be returned in the same condition as it was sent, unworn and undamaged with attached price tag. Items that have been worn and damaged due to client negligence cannot be returned.

Our laboratory will inspect and verify the condition of the item once we receive the return. The original price tag must still be on the item in order for refunds to be processed. Fat Cat Bling will refund the full cost of the returned item. If an order shipped is defective, Fat Cat Bling will also reimburse you for the shipping charges that apply to send the order back to us.

Returning an item that was purchased with an GIA/EGL Certificate
Fat Cat Bling allows you to add to your order and purchase a third party certificate from the Gemological Institute of America (GIA) or the European Gemological Laboratory (EGL) for loose diamond orders. Purchasing a third party GIA or EGL jewelry certificate for loose diamonds is an optional feature. The exact cost of the certificate is shown while customizing each product, on the shopping cart, and on your invoice. Note that Fat Cat Bling does not refund the cost of the certificate in case of a return.
